At Limelight 8 Performing Arts Studio, we donāt wait around for recital season ā we create, produce, and perform year-round. And this holiday season, our Music Video class proved just how much can happen with the right blend of passion, energy, and creative freedom.
š¬ In just THREE class sessions, our young performers:
Learned original dance choreography
Rehearsed and acted out on-camera scenes
Sang the chorus live to an original holiday track
All of this led to the release of their first-ever Christmas music video, and it was pure magic.
⨠100% Limelight Original
This wasnāt a cookie-cutter cover song or pre-packaged routine. Every part of "Deck the World with Christmas Cheer" was built in-house at Limelight 8:
š¶ Lyrics & music: Written and produced by our team
š„ Cinematography: Shot right here in our studio
š Choreography: Crafted specifically for camera angles
šļø Editing: Professionally polished ā and fast
The result? A heartwarming, high-energy holiday video that captures the cinematic magic of what our kids are truly capable of.
š§š¦ Starring Lily & Wyatt
Our Lime Leopards Lily and Wyatt led the cast with bold energy, pro-level work ethic, and all the personality. From their vocals to their performance on screen, these two lit up the lens with holiday joy ā and showed that even young performers can step into real production roles.
š Why This Matters
In a world where performing arts are often limited to stages and recitals, weāre building something bigger. Our classes give students:
Cinematic training
On-camera experience
Creative ownership over their work
The chance to earn real IMDb credit opportunities
This music video wasnāt just a class project ā it was a stepping stone into the world of professional production.
